Selling a classic bike can be challenging — from finding serious buyers to getting the right exposure and price. At Steel City Classics, we make it effortless with our trusted, enthusiast-led process that gives your motorcycle the attention it deserves.
1) Honest Valuation from Classic Experts
We’ll carry out a detailed appraisal of your motorcycle based on its condition, history, and rarity. With years of experience in the classic scene, we understand the real value of your bike — not just its book price.
2) Agreed Return Price
Once we’ve reviewed your motorcycle, we’ll agree a fair return price — the amount you’ll receive when it’s sold. Everything is clear and transparent, with no hidden deductions or surprise fees.
3) We Handle the Details
If your bike needs an MOT, service, recommissioning or sympathetic detailing, we can arrange that too. We’ll photograph and present it properly, advertise it to our network of enthusiasts and collectors, and manage every enquiry. We can also handle finance or part-exchange requests from potential buyers.
4) Bring It to Us or Arrange Collection
You’re welcome to bring your motorcycle to our showroom, or we can collect it for you (a small fee may apply). Once it’s with us, you can relax — we’ll take care of the sale from start to finish and keep you updated throughout.
It’s the easy, trusted and respectful way to sell your classic motorcycle — handled by people who love and understand classics as much as you do.
